Do you cut with a wet sponge ? 🙂Having bought a 115mm variable speed grinder for trimming and grinding porc. tiles dry I'm having problems with chipping, even if only slight. I bought blades that seemed to be well considered on this forum but they weren't particularly expensive. What would be the best diamond blade for dry trimming porc?

No, I have never tried, although I have seen it done. In UK and Ireland I have always been able to hire an overhead wet saw, and even then I have bought my own blades because the ones supplied didnt always cut without chips. I haven’t found one for hire here.Do you cut with a wet sponge ? 🙂

I don’t think it is technique as I have managed to grind and cut with fixed speed machines and Bosch blades before without chipping. Just not having much luck with the one blade I have at the moment and thought I’d ask for reccomendations from those with more experience.
