Does anyone know where to buy a 14 mm round notch trowel?

He means modify a trowel with the grinder to whatever size you want it. Another way to get the coverage and bed depth would be to use say a 10mm trowel on the floor, and on the back of the tile, with the lines going in the same direction. Should give about a 4 - 5mm solid bed, a bit there to play with.

Ah wow, so literally make your own one! You guys are surely professionals, I'd lack the skills to do it myself.
Localtiler thanks mil for your advice. Can I ask you if a 20 mm round notch would leave approximately the same bed depth?

Thanks localtiler, unfortunately I can only find 20x20 or 20x10. But from your answer I guess one would be too big and the other too small🙁

Hi localtiler, sorry I just reread your post and I realized you said Ban (i didn't cope it's was a brand) do trowels this size and how they are called. All this new terminology mixed with the usual language barrier and I get lost!

I google it now and hopefully I can find it.

One thing, does the expression "uses some gear" means this size is more difficult to use?

Thanks mil

Recently bought 15mm on "Flea Bay"...
Not bad for the money.. Bout 12 notes as I remember..
