I eat more now than before..

i never used used to eat breakfast , just a couple coffees and go to work , never took bait either... Just grabbed biscuits etc off customers and then pigged out when at home . Sweets/ choccy and beer every night.

i now eat carbs at breaky , ... Chicken and salad and eggs during the day ( protein ) and chicken / rice or steak for tea... Mostly chicken lol .. In various dishes.. Eating healthy does not mean less .. Just eat right. Simples.

My older brother is a PT and been training for yearssssssss , he's approaching 60 and still competing in the veterans comps in bodybuilding.

this is his him about 11 weeks back ...

He used used to be mainly a power lifter weighing around the 19 St mark but has trimmed down to just under 15 St to compete in BNBF.

anybody else see Chewbacca/Obi Wan Kenobi between the trunks and rib cage?..or is it my wonky eye after being out on a head wetting do tonight?

Used to be a total gym addict.....heavy weights 3 times a week ...cardio 1day ....eating 6 meals a day...chicken. fish. rice......40 eggs a week.
Went to a seminar once by dorian Yates. ..that was a real eye opener...

I need to loose weight...put so much on since I quit smoking.....been nearly a year now. So time to do somthing about it.....its just the giving up the beer thing that's going to be hard..lol

Not trained for a month, can't be assed. Trained for the total warrior thingie for 6 months, not many weights, mostly cardio and beer
Im to old for weights now, not good for my heart and BP.
I will be starting again next week, doing tough mudder and total warrior next year, and want a better time/place

Yup,can't do it anymore Andy, had a bleed on me brain just before my 40th, I was still training g/sparring, wife won't let me now .
I gave up competing in my 20s though, cos I was **** [emoji41]

I gave up drinking 12 weeks ago and am a member of a gym but haven't been for a year, must say the weight does drop off when you stop drinking and I can pretty much eat what I want now I keep saying I will start going again , I enjoy jogging and Keep starting going for a month or 2 then seem to stop

I'm not a gym rat but I have been exercising more this year and watching my diet. I'm currently on a low carb, high protein diet to help bring my insulin levels under control. And in 2 years I've lost 15kg/2 stone something, through the hard work of eating in moderation and regular exercise. I hate not being able to eat bread when I want to though

Ok, my exercise craziness got to a whole new level this morning. I cycled to work :yikes: it was 14 miles :yikes: it was frosty when I left the house this morning, doh. Did I ever mention that I love my car? :lol:

Inpsired by my daughter doing her first 5k race, im just about start the C25K thing. I do sod all at the moment , which is pretty much all ive ever done. Been lucky in some repsects as i dont seem to put on weight per se. But time has come to look after myself a bit better before its too late.

I've been jogging 3/4 times a week since the first of Jan really enjoying it ,I will be a volunteer Marshall at the London Marathon on Sunday too

Been meaning to get more healthy this year, by cutting down the drink and snacks but just can't get started! Play a bit of football once a week , but that's about it ! Never seem to have time , with work and the kids!

just joined the leisure centre gym and have loved all two sessions so far :hurray:
