Has anyone else had trouble with Topps lately

i went into topps tiles the other day to open a trade account after being informed a few days earlier what to take in to open it. when i spoke to the manager of the store he informed me that Topps have stopped opening trade accounts because there are enough tilers.

i just think he couldnt be bothered to open a trade account for me.

has anyone else had trouble with them recently ........

The prices have changed, think it's 6.99 for Topps rapid, £13.50 for Topps flexi grey, 16.99 for Topps flexi White and 16.50 for Topps 2 part. Check them out, makes a change for them to lower prices rather than raise.

I called into topps for a bag of gear, picked up a 20kg bag of BAL flexi rapid... £58!!! They said it had a lifetime guarantee but it says 10 yrs on the bag.
Confusion amondo!!!

Personally cash is best!

It's just every post you have replied to since joining is topps related products....:huh2:

If your'e not then thats ok...but trying to sneak in advertising for topps prices isn't a done thing on here..

Ah right, I see how it looks but I don't work for them. Another tiler told me about these forums today, said they had some good advice etc. I mainly use Topps and I'm in there almost every day, so I'm pretty clued up on them that's all. Sorry if it looked like I was advertising them or anything, I just thought I was helping...

I applied for two accounts on the same day.

One was at the Tile Clearance Centre, the other at Topps. IIAC they are both Trade Saver cards.

The Tile Clearance Centre turned me down because I had not provided them with enough information - filled out the form properly etc???? Work that one out.

Topps approved me, despite my only having one invoice with the company name on it, as opposed to 2 as requested. I received the card and the PIN in the last few days.

Both outlets were in Plymouth, about 400 yards from each other.

10 year guarantee is the old packaging Dave, after 1st Sept all products are 25years, except Topps who give a lifetime guarantee....Gaz

£58 is retail price. With a trade account it is heavily discounted.
