My first car

Just wondered if anyone had any pics of their first car, or any cars you've had since you passed your test. If you have no pics, what was your first car? Here's mine, a 1985 C reg Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia, car cost £1050, insurance was £1100 third party fire and theft!!!!

It cost £5 to fill the tank and I thought that was expensive.

First car was actually a van. An Austin Maestro 2.0 d. Was an awesome van. Had it about a year then got stollen. Not got many pics of my old cars, just more recent ones. I'll try & get on the PC & get some up.

My first car was a '91 Orion 18 straight diesel. 64bhp and 0-16 in 16.7. Only had 50k on it and was actually a real minter. Bought it pink for £100 and sold it for £400. Done a wee writeup on it on a car website I was on: Wingnut's Ford Orion LX 1.8D (1991)

First car was a mini, turn the ignition key and push a button on the floor to start....that was about 1974 and cost me £50.

Love the RS Turbo wheels on yours Bri. I had to make do with Mk5 Mondeo hub caps. :lol:

The 1600s were rapid, quicker than an 1800 Cav.

I'll stick another up, 1990 H plate Orion 1.6i Ghia (can you see a theme, lol), I was we'll and truly into chav mode by now, think I was 18 when I got this!

1984 B-reg Volkswagen Polo Coupe in white, bought for £400, insurance was £700, scrapped it for £20. It looked very much like this photo I found on google

and bought a 1990 Citroen AX GT in black.
