found some newspapers from Dec 1981 in a loft today. I'm not the only one who flicks through the main storys and prices of things, am I?

By the way, david Gowers playing out of his skin, Brendan Fosters retired and 2nd hand cars are the same ish price!!

Long story short, I am working in a house which I bought in 1986. (don't own it now) The memories in that house have been kiiling me this week! I know, big wuss!

When did Charles and Di get married? I thought that was December '81 or was it earlier in the year?

My step dad was doing a refub in a regency town house and when he knocked out the boarded up cupboard under the stairs he found boxes and boxes of marriage certificates from the 1820's. It appears the building was a registry office back then. He gave them to the owner who I think donated them to the local museum
