Overkill - is this a wise layering for UFH?

Over the wires after the self leveling...

Confused....?
Why is this scenario any different to the one I asked about, where everyone said "Don't bother with the DITRA"??
Is it because rj1884 is laying over a "fresh" screed??

Save yourself time and money....

Prime with primeplus, lay 10mm thermal insulation boards, fix loose wire, level with rapid level 30 and tile within 45 mins....

bish bosh.

Thanks for your response. Where in the stack would you lay the ditra. Would you lay it on top of the wires after they've been levelled over or would you lay the wires on the ditra.

I would lay your loose wires and make sure they are tacked down well, once you have Levelled over them for Protection. once fully dry I would then lay the Ditra on top of the Leveller using your 4x4 trowel.

If your going to use the route of Ditra for the safety of expansion etc, why not look into a product by Schluter called Ditra Heat?

He asked a question so I answered, dos'nt mean that I would ditra with those tiles

My method would be:
Prime
Fix insulation boards
Lay ufh
Cover with latex
Tile

I wouldn't use Ditra with these tiles either.
