Post tomorrows Job here

Cheers.
Don't always work to the bubble but try as hard as I can to get it there or there abouts.
Sometimes your wall can be really bad & you've just got to go with it.

I would buy a 700ish Sigma & an angle grinder with an ATS blade.
I rarely use a wet cutter now, an angle grinder & a sponge at the back of it gives a really good cut.

Talk me through the using of a sponge with angle grinder.

So here it is a day and a half later lol first kitchen floor done !!!

You've done a nice job mate well done for your first floor, you have set it out nicely!

Here is the unlevel door lining, even though it bugged the hell out of me looking at it and yes the tiles are level :hurray:

Get a wet sponge & hold it at the back of your grinder guard.
I'm right handed so hold grinder with right hand & put the wet sponge at the back of the guard against the blade with my left hand.
Once you get used to it you will very rarely use a wet saw.
This tip was courtesy of Gary Walsh down at Rays place.

I needed a wet cutter for tomorrow. I was gonna ask my buddy for a leand of his diy one but Im gonna this method like. What do you cut your tile on what surface? Is a soft springy surface better than a solid hard surface?

I hang the tile off of a hop up.
You are better with a softer surface, use some cardboard from the tile boxes.
Have a practice on an off cut of tile & watch your fingers, once you get a hang of this method then you won't use a wet cutter much.

Which is a good all round blade for my 4" grinder m8?
