Lets face it the seats are small and uncomfortable enough without a big fatty next to you. Justy out of interest i read a while back that cattle on the way to slaughter are entitled to more room than a human on a flight.
airlines have a legitimate business reason to impose these requirements on it's staff as it's all to do with reputation and quality. only beautiful people work on the airlines, it's a sad but true fact.

Yes, and can I have a price reduction as a long legged (32"inside leg) person who never has enough leg room?? Pfffff.....
probably. but it's also about looking good. you don't want to be served your inflight meal by somebody you don't want to look at or ogle.

I believe Monarch was the worse, The air was so thick with rancid perfume I considered smashing the window regardless of the consequences
