Truthfull information - If you don't have the passion don't bother!
That doesn't just apply to tiling but all occupations. You have to want to do something badly enough to suceed with it and from your introduction you don't sound committed enough to a full time career in tiling. IMHO.

Just been chasing the careers advice up this morning about the funding for tiling course.It looks like i will be getting the funding fingers crossed at a place in bradford.A place called yorkshire tiling academy anybody heard and how good?.

things are tough but they are moving now

peoples attitude to tiling is changing and they are realising that tiles are a decoritive finish rather than just a splashback to prevent water damage to a wall

instead of ripping out an otherwise good kitchen because its boring and dated they can upgrade with new tops and tiles and make it look a million dollars

bathroom suites are all white now, why change it if theres nothing wrong with it

but a retile changes the whole look and brings the bathroom bang up to date

floors are being tiled now more than ever, if you own a victorian style property whats better, stripped floors,carpets or the wow factor of traditional style tiling

tiling hasnt reached its potential in this country yet and theres money to be made

but only by the best

2nd rate tilers need not apply

if you feel you can step up to the plate, go for it

if its just a means to an end get a forklift licence , its a lot less hassle
