Yes me too , friend asked me to do his conservatory with parquet years ago. Not my thing really , came up nice after it was sanded and oiled though. I used the dipping method using black jack.
Wouldnt do it again though , all that sawing lol.

stanley do a folding 45 set square may be able to get them from screewfix where I got mine

spot on 3 4 5 on small floors 6 8 10 on bigger floors then bay line it should always come back to square and bay lines

Did a quick search of the web and was surprised to find this page of ideas for tile patterns (Tile Design Patterns) - 59 different patterns - and that's before we start looking at geometrics.

After parking my initial surprise at some of the ideas, I wish some customers would be more inventive - does anyone else get fed up with brickbond metro, Wickes 300sq black riven floor tiles, and glass mosaic borders? And is there anyone out there who has laid all 59 patterns?
