That's ugly,

Neale can you run them through a dressing stone if you have one, or an engineering brick or a breeze block, see if livens them up.

Also keep them in your tool box and run them through different materials for me please when you get a chance. All the aid of science of course.

Had a chat with the engineers at the factory and we have a couple of these on their way to us with our next order (circa 2 weeks) for testing on Porcelain.

These will be circa £10 inc vat

I'll send you one of these when they arrive Neale.

The latest wheel i have tried is the Sigma 75c.
Same tests as before, this time on a gres porcellanato. From the off this wheel performed great. For the 2 days I was using it I had no issues at all, it didnt feel as smooth as the Montolit nor as quiet but for the price of £14 its a good wheel . Its cetainly well worth the money, only time will tell how long it lasts.

Just waiting for a few more brands to arrive and I will be back.

And just like to point out that this is not about the best cutting wheel its more about the cost of a wheel against the cost.

I also swapped the Sigma wheel for the ATS Turbo wheel I tried last week before I packed away and ran that through one of these gres porcellanato and experienced the same chipping as before.
