Anhyfix is glooopy it's a bit like ultimate to use but it does the job well. With porcelain I don't use any mat unless the screed is cracked or other issues. Personally I feel pumped screeds are growing in popularity massively so its worth the investment in a floor grinder. I use a 7 inch grinder with cowel and diamond cup. You can do about 50m a day without too much stress. Above that is a stand up machine like impish suggested but it's a big old machine. The BAL flexbone mat, yes it sounds alien but there a huge company they wouldnt bring it out if it was flawed.
How long has it been down ?

Just done 160 metre floor, laitance not removed for nine months.
My usual grit pad on rotary buffing victor 400 that would breeze laitance removal didn't touch it. A bigger heavier grit machine removed 6 square metres in two hours.
Customer had to descabble it to remove it in the end. Tore it to pieces in places but still struggled in others.
Used Kerakoll primers, adhesives, decoupler and addy to 15mm limestone.
No issues
All UFH too.

It's been down since the end of August,
UFH been on for 4 weeks...

This sander with a turbodisk attached will easily deal with the Laitence if its all like the pics. It looks pretty damp though so do a moisture test before you tile it. As for adhesives and ball suggesting they have a system that doesn't require sanding... well i doubt it...

No sanding, no priming, no adhesive (loose laid) is what they are claiming?

last one I did I sand as marc and stuck Ditra down with Ardex AF 200 Plus then tiled as normal

Ah I see. Loose lay .... yes that would negate sanding. I know similar systems were used in Germany but ive not come across them for several years. I think genesis did one as well.
