No exact science to laying m2. On Thursday I had laid a 15m kitchen floor in an hour and a half because the screed was good, then on Friday it took a good bit longer to do a 9m large format hall.

How long would the 33 metre floor take most forum members? There's the old saying round here that there's no work in an Englishman.

Easy done if all walls are square and you don't encounter any awkward checks with a flat floor. A neat job can still be achieved with speed. Of course the same amount of work can take a day in different circumstances. 12m doesn't usually go down that quick for me, was just stating that you can do serious metreage in a day in the right conditions. Any of the guys who do shop floors will know a squad can get a few hundred metres a day down with a good system.

Hiya! My first Tilers Arms reply.
33m2 is going mate so don't let him stress you, he's probably jealous because in his mind he's worked out what you've earnt.
So as long as he can fit his kitchen when you agreed then there's is nothing he can say.
I'd turn the radio up (preferably to something he doesn't like), and get stuck into the job.
