Messiest trade - who do you think?

Brushed this out of a bathroom today. Spark and plumber.

The two sites ive been working on lately i have all trades around me sparks plumbers chippies with no issues everybody seems to know what a dust pan and brush is and if there is an issue left from another trade just tell the labourers lol

What even in upstairs bathroom, yes ok I accept the reason being damp onto a solid floor but not if its wooden as some plasterers still dont go down to the floor maybe its just habit but it does bug me

I suppose its just something thats just been done.
We did it in the 80s , especially with limemotar or browning/bonding it would suck any water right up the wall if we plastered down to the floor

I an be a messy lad when working but always try and tidy my work area at every break time I put my boxes and adhesive bags straight in a rubble sack but never bin my cuts as I always expect I will use them somewhere so I keep the wastage to a minimum but I would say tilers are up there with the messiest trades

Sparkies without a doubt!!!, I still keep my hand in at plastering and once a sparky said, "bloody hell, you make a mess" so I showed him my floor scraper and asked if he knew what it was, he said "yes" so then I showed him my sweeping brush and said "...but you'll have no bleeping idea what this is will ya!"

I used to hate cleaning up when I was a apprentice , none of this caber boards ,Nicely screwed down and using a floor scraper,it was bloody floorboards,curled from damp ,nail heads everywhere( not screws like now) and a bent shovel to scrape,took ages to get the drops up,and browning was the worst,it stuck everywhere ,and mixing 30/40 bags a day you can imagine how much mess there was

I was in a house with that stuff being spread all over the walls today, really gets up ya nose horrible smell

Was they dot and dabbing plasterboard, no reason to spread it all over the walls@Mr tea bag

yeh mate dabbing it, just said spread all over cuz every wall I looked at there was big dabs of the stuff lol

Some of the adhesives do have a slight odour....

Yeh like the smell of floor addy love the smell of primer its like buble gum lol
