Rad if you are being laid off there should be some program from the government for re training. See if you can get your course paid for?
 
Where do you work Paul, and what type of CNC do you operate? Don't know of any vacancies but I can give you a few names in the Hartlepool area to try

Things should be picking up in that area due to these windfarm contracts

(would still do the Nett course as well though)

I agree with Scottley turn a negative into a positive and push for government funding to retrain as a full time plasterer, good luck fella :thumbsup:

I use centreless grinders,but hartlepool is a bit far for me i'm from stanley co. durham. Thanks anyway.
