Rotten luck.
Our lovely dog who has been part of our family since we got him as a pup has (for some inexplicable reason) bitten my wife.
Not only is this pretty devastating for us (he really has never had a bad bone in his body) but the kids are absolutely inconsolable.
I'm desperately trying to find somewhere that will take him rather than the horrible alternative.
i've had dogs for years and it's different if they're sick or old, but Sid (the dog) is just coming up for 3 years..I just can't bring myself to have him put down if possible.
Don't get me wrong, I know what has to happen..we've got 2 young children and I will not take ANY chances with them, so either way the dog has to go. I'm not normally a sentimental person, but I keep looking at the poor bugger (he's in the garage away from everyone whilst we try to sort this out) and thinking he doesn't even know he's done for himself. Life can be pretty miserable sometimes I have to admit.

sorry to her this mate, life can be a downer sometimes!! what breed of dog is it just out of interest ?

so sorry to hear the news , we are dog and cats lovers here ,hope it all works out well :thumbsup:

Sorry to hear that mate. Have you spoken to your vets? They might be able to suggest something else? I hope so, Im a big animal person and that would ruin me. Keep your chin up, there might be different avenues.

Is this a nasty type bit or an over playful one..

Was he provoked or just a spur attack.?

That is such big news concerning dogs at the moment, do see your point though concerning the kids
