Jamie, I'm not a dog lover, but I was sad to read your story (especially as I'm about to go to bed). I was hoping for a happy ending to this thread, but I guess this is life. sorry to hear jamie, really feel for you mate.
Years ago when we had our first baby we had two dogs and one day they had a fight. I came home to find 'my' dog had been taken to a kennel as it was the most dangerous.(but never the instigator of the fight) Still miss her but I know it was always the right thing to do

sorry to hear the news Jamie. I missed my Barney terribly when he had to be put asleep when I was just 2 years old. he'd had a good life though and brought much happiness to my dad after his first wife died.

I was in our vets this morning and saw a sign for bereavement counselling via the vets surgery. i was most impressed with that.
