Just put a deposit on a 2nd hand Volkswagon T5 really excited (i like my cars/vans). Lots of money but its going to be with me for at least 6 years.

HELL

Bent over to do my shoe lace up before getting in my current van and pulled something in my back!:furious3: Very light duties until i get it sorted but more to the point i could be stuck with a loveley van and no income to pay for it!

I do suffer from sciatica but this is just taking the :furious3: now! But i will look on the bright side and try to be optamistic. The futures bright the futures employing someone else to tile for you !

Mate just got a second hand VW van,cost him 6 grand very good for make,model and year.A month later something didn't feel right took it in to garage and was something to do with the fan belt system and wouldn't be cheap.
I was working with him when he got the call from the mechanic,I saw the colour drain from his face just before he said"HOW MUCH!" £3800.

That took the jam out of his donut.

Respray it mate,or you could do what one lad on my road did to his although it might not have the finish you want,he painted his whole van with hammerite.
It was alot cheaper than £1270.Looked alot cheaper aswell

Speaking as someone who has had LOADS of trouble with his back - have you tried a good osteopath? I always find that this is the fastest route back to recovery and work.
