Hi all,

I attended Mapei's training day on the 25th last month in Birmingham and have been told I have won the Pre-registration draw for that day, so a tool box, t-shirt, jacket and some bits and bobs are coming my way.

Happy days, i'm well chuffed :hurray:

Thanks to the big "M" team, I had a good day and was well worth the 220 mile round trip.

My day was packed out straight away. First I paid a visit to the food buffet and stuffed my face then went on to the program. I was taken back by the fact that the trainers DID know their stuff and was tested by the tilers who attended. Totally on the ball and very patient with a perticular bloke who constantly bombarded them with endless questions, this guy did not have a clue and constantley pesterd them but the Mapei guys kept their cool throughout although I wanted to slap this fellow with the back of my hand.

Mapei went through quiet a lot of their products and showed without doubt that their gear was good stuff and showed what the gear could and could not do, a totally honest seminar.

I'll be giving their gear a go soon, i'm looking for a local supplier at the mo. Seen one line in B & Q but that's all i've seen locally so far.

If they come by you on their tour i'd be sure to attend the training day if you can
