can cause problems with expansion of the wood, could cause the wood to belly upwards at the joints

Will I cut the joints a bit with a circular saw ?

Hard to see just how tight they are, if they are touching i would open them up a bit if you can

if they are tight joined mags, I'd be inclined to pin a batten on ply and run circular saw along joints

pretty sure theres about 1mm of gap.

Just been informed about PCI pecilastic this sounds good instead of a movement joint. Especially as Im tiliing in a diamond formation and wont have to destroy the look with a straight line 🙂

Don't think that will eliminate the need for a movemnet joint! it works in the same way as ditra!
